Shocking Photos Of Suspected Drug Dealers Killed By Police Officers On The Streets Of Phillipines
The President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte’s earlier declared a bloody war on illegal drugs and gave order for the police to kill drug dealers.
The streets of Phillipines has since been littered by bodies of suspected drug dealers ever since that decree from President Duterte as the Filipino police and vigilantes took the order seriously.
Mr Duterte in his first state of the nation address to parliament said that drugs were ‘drowning his country’ and had to put a stop to it at all costs.
‘Double your efforts. Triple them if need be,’ Mr Duterte told police
‘We will not stop until the last drug lord, the last financier and the last pusher have surrendered or been put behind bars … or below ground if you wish,’ he said.
In the streets, are the bodies of men killed by the police, some of them were stripped to their underwear, with their hands and feet tied and faces covered in tape before been shot in the head.
Families of the deceased were seen crying and clutching the lifeless bodies of their loved ones who were killed by police officers in the summary executions without the benefit of a full and fair trial.
According to the statistics gotten from the police by human rights groups, Mr Duterte’s brutal crackdown has claimed the lives of 293 suspected users and pushers between July 1 and July 24 in police operations. This figure excludes drug dealers killed by vigilante groups and those working outside the law.
