Americans Raise $70,000 For Lady Who Was Sacked For Giving President Trump ‘The Middle Finger’
Juli Briskman, a 50-year-old mother of two and cyclist, was sacked after her middle finger photo to U.S President Donald Trump’s motorcade went viral.
Briskman has now been comforted by Americans who raised $70,000 in donations for her in more than 3,000 donations, from $5 to $250 since November 6 through GoFundMe.
The viral middle finger photo of Briskman, a marketing executive, was taken on October 28, as Donald Trump’s motorcade left Trump National Golf Course in Sterling, Virginia.
Government contractor, Akima had fired Briskman over the viral act.
Rob Mello, who set up the GoFundMe account thanked Briskman saying;
“Thank you, Juli Briskman,” adding she is “an inspiration to us all.”
